Raw Sugar is an enchanting solid beech flooring produced by Junckers. At first glance this is a delightful honey toned floor with huge amounts of personality and charm, which will only grow with time. As its variation grade, we see some dark knotting perfectly dotted all over the flooring, and lots of boards featuring rings – seen in trees signifying a trees age – allowing you to fully appreciate just how much time and care goes into growing and nurturing the beech tree, before it finally becomes a part of your home. These beech boards are immensely warm toned, and offer up lots of rust and amber shades, naturally the colouring of this flooring will exude huge amounts of warmth and will overflow your home with cosiness all year round, even when the weather outside is dark and dreary. This solid wood is primed with a stain, giving the boards their unique colour before being finished with several coats of an ultra-matt lacquer, leaving behind a smooth and polished finish.

To keep this flooring looking brand new, for many years to come, we would encourage the use of doormats at any front and back doors, this will ensure any stubborn dirt or grit on the soles of your shoes stays off your solid wood flooring. Felt pads should be installed on the bottom of your furniture, especially pieces that are moved a lot; i.e., dining room chairs. Clean weekly with a mild detergent or wood floor cleaner, if you are unsure if your floor cleaner is compatible with lacquered flooring, its always best to do a small patch test in an area that is easily concealed.
