Acacia is an extremely resilient choice of wood, making it the perfect candidate for flooring. The colouring of acacia gives you a wide range of colour variation with dark hickory rings and knots, and some warm, tawny highlights that run the length of the boards. The surface is finished with a lacquer that gives it a completely smooth finish, with little to no texture on the boards. The boards are hard to appreciate without seeing in person, as the layers of lacquer give the boards a shifting dimension, and an almost pearlescent quality that can only be valued in person. The classic grade boards are all a uniform length of 910mm, giving the floor a professional feel and look, while the 2.5mm top layer of acacia keeps enough natural variation to balance this.

The engineered boards present themselves already finished and easily maintained, we recommend sweeping/ vacuuming using a hardwood flooring setting as often as needed, but not less than once per week to minimise dirt on the surface which could pose a scratch risk. The boards can be cleaned with warm water on a very well wrung out mop, paired with a wood floor cleaner or mild detergent. When mopping be cautious of soaking the boards as this can damage the wood over time. To prevent scratching the lacquer felt pads can be installed on the bottom of your furniture, this in turn will also make the pieces easier to move while keeping your flooring protected.
